As clinicians, we often see behavior issues in our patients. Sometimes clients come to us for advice, sometimes the client is not as aware of the issue as they should be. During this behavior webinar we will explore the process of diagnosing common behavior problems in dogs and cats and outline the steps needed when creating and implementing a behavior plan. We will discuss the difference between a primary behavioral problem and a training issue and which cases we should handle and which we should refer to a behaviorist.
Other topics Dr. Calder will discuss during this presentation include:
- The various behavioral tools available to facilitate management
- How to identify appropriate trainers and other certified professionals to aid in the treatment of behavior problems
- Behavioral euthanasia and how to develop a prognosis
We hope you’ll join us for this important welfare-focused webinar.
