DESCRIPTION:CARE’s Senior Director of Research and Development\, Mueni Rudd\, will facilitate a conversation with our Black-led CARE Centers. They will address how we can improve Black communities’ access to local pet resources and how animal welfare can begin to acknowledge and repair harm with Black communities locally. \nPanel:\nSterling Davis – Trapking Humane\,\nDr. Karlyn Emile – Community and Health Empowerment Network\,\nTim Freeman – Braveheart Pets\,\nBeunca Gainor -Furvever I Love Atlanta\,\nNina Love – The Black Thornberry\,\nZhaire McCormick – The Neighborhood Center \nAnd like last year\, we are raising awareness around changing the 2% Black Veterinarian figure and raising funds for our Dr. Jodie G Blackwell Scholarship.
