Animal welfare researcher Bailey Eagan from the University of BC will present the measurement and impact of noise in the shelter environment and simple steps you can take to minimize sound.

After Bailey’s presentation, we’ll open the discussion to all shelters and hear what you’ve discovered this year about how noise levels and routines have affected your population, and more general volume-reducing ideas you’ve implemented to mitigate stress in your shelters.
