Canine elimination problems may not be in the lime-light as often as feline ones, but they can be signs of anxiety and welfare concerns, are distressing to the client and may fracture the human animal bond. This case-based talk covers a variety of canine elimination problems.
About the Presenter
Dr. Lilly is an Assistant Professor overseeing the Behavioral Medicine Service at The Ohio State University’s Veterinary Medical center. She received her DVM from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2011 and spent 4 years in the trenches of general practice. She completed a specialty internship in Behavior Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. She followed her internship with a Behavioral Medicine Residency at The Ohio State University, where she then joined the faculty with both clinical and teaching appointments. She has appeared in a webisode of Animal Planet’s Life at Vet U, and ABC6’s Pet Check, various print and TV interviews. She is Fear Free Elite and Low Stress Handling Silver certified. When not working she enjoys kitten cuddles and landscaping.
