This VDOS webinar will outline the many additional tasks veterinary technicians/nurses and dental hygienists are doing. The focus of the second part will be on preparing the operating room and table, providing instruments and supplies for specific dental and oral surgical procedures (tooth extraction, periodontal surgery, endodontics, restorative dentistry, prosthodontics, orthodontics, and oral/maxillofacial surgery), taking full-mouth impressions, obtaining bite registrations, and making stone models. The didactic lecture will last 1.5 hours, but the webinar is designed so that there is extra time for interactive participation and answering your questions.
