The 2021 Virtual Animal Care Conference will feature 4 learning tracks, 20+ education sessions, over 30 knowledgeable speakers, and 2 days of exhibitors showcasing the latest industry products. This yearly event brings together animal control officers, humane officers, animal care attendants, behaviorists, humane educators, shelter directors, veterinarians, RVTS, customer service representatives, all law enforcement personnel, and other animal-sheltering professionals.

Presented by CalAnimals (the California Animal Welfare Association), the ACC brings together all types of professionals who work in California’s shelters to share issues and experiences, network and learn from one another.

The ACC program is structured to allow each attendee to select educational sessions that are pertinent to their role in the animal shelter profession. Unique to the ACC, the conference offers four tracks: Disaster Response, Law Enforcement & Field Services, Shelter Medicine, and Sheltering & Outreach.Attendees may choose from sessions which provide shelter-specific training, expose them to new theories and best management practices, or expand their understanding of community outreach and veterinary medical treatment.

ACC presenters are experts in their fields and attendees will leave each session with practical information on how to address their communities’ animal issues. The ACC is the one essential conference for animal shelter professionals, from intake specialists to veterinarians.
