Learn how you can manage compassion fatigue and make your passion for helping animals sustainable! Presented by professional counselor, former animal shelter worker/ACO, and author of To Save a Starfish: A Compassion Fatigue Workbook for the Animal Welfare Warrior, Jen Blough, this interactive webinar will help participants learn about compassion fatigue, burnout, and secondary traumatic stress.
Topics include symptoms and causes of compassion fatigue, burnout and organizational compassion fatigue, secondary stress and trauma, the difference between pain and suffering, self-regulation and other coping skills, building resilience through ongoing wellness, and more!
