Rachel Jones holds the unique role of Urgent Dog Case Manager and her job is essentially to be a staff advocate for the special needs behavior dogs at Pima Animal Care Center in Tucson, AZ. In addition to starting a volunteer program called “Finn’s Fund for Good Dogs” that identifies advocates and resources to find live outcomes for dogs with checkered pasts, Rachel also has played an integral part in one of the largest foster programs throughout the country while leading the Maddie’s Fund Medium and Large Dog Foster Apprenticeships.
In this session, Rachel will share why you should be transparent and open to challenging discussions, the processes that she has created to support urgent dogs, and what you can be doing now to begin saving more lives.
