Feline upper respiratory tract disease (URTD) is a major challenge in many shelters, and it affects the health, welfare, and adoptability of cats. Particularly in under-resourced shelters, URTD may dramatically impact an organization’s lifesaving capacity. This webinar will discuss the principles of feline URTD management in the shelter setting, including population management, prevention strategies (vaccination, biosecurity, stress reduction), and treatment of the individual patient.
Speaker: Erin Katribe, DVM, MS, Best Friends Animal Society Medical Director
