Our cities and communities provide near-perfect habitat for these wildlife generalists and while perspectives about raccoons will range from charming inhabitant to source of conflict, raccoons will remain a quintessential part of urban living. This webinar will discuss the life cycle and yearly patterns of raccoons, including mating, raising young, and seasonal foraging that will help better equip you to address and resolve the conflicts that people experience with them. Learn through video examples from the field about raccoon behaviors- like their incredible climbing skills and their ability to utilize buildings as denning opportunities -along with the other traits that have helped them not only adapt, but flourish in urban areas.
