When individuals face unexpected detention or move out of the U.S. to seek sanctuary, pets are often surrendered—and people become less likely to engage with organizations requiring identification for adoptions, RTO, or volunteer work. On July 15 at 12 p.m. PT, panelists will offer unique perspectives and practical strategies for supporting families and pets in our communities.
