Training Matters Presents (fee applies): We have assembled an expert group to talk about how they work with scared animals in a species with which they specialize. In this online seminar, Debbie Jacobs will talk about dogs, Michelle Martiya about horses, Katenna Jones about cats, and Emily Strong about birds. These ladies will discuss the behavioral profile of the fearful animals they often see, that is the behaviors they exhibit and their typical history. The presenters will then talk about how they work through specific behavior challenges, highlighting what may be different about working through the situation with a dog, horse, cat or bird in terms of management, safety, reinforcement delivery, and other aspects of the training process.

NACA/Justice Clearinghouse Presents: From the minute you step into the puppy mill, it is important to capture the images and the cacophony of the living conditions.  Large Scale seizures all have the same thing in common; numerous animals.  How to document the scene at a puppy mill to make sure you tell the story.  As a prosecutor, how do you make it come alive for the judge or jury.  There will be tips on how to make the story come alive in Court and making sure you don’t lost your case.  Innovative strategies to bring the puppy mill owner to justice will be explored.

ASPCA Pro Presents: This webinar will introduce dialysis and the other extracorporeal therapies (ECT) available to treat common poisonings and overdoses in dogs and cats. Dr. Armi Pigott will review toxin-associated indications for hemodialysis, hemoperfusion, hemofiltration, and therapeutic plasma exchange. Attendees will also leave with information on how to find a referral center that provides these services.  

Dog iBox Presents (fee applies): This webinar will provide practical information for everyone living with older dogs. You will no longer be a passive bystander watching your dog age. You will be introduced to how to keep aging dogs engaged with you and the environment. We’ll cover how to help them be more active and functional. You’ll learn what you can do to support your dog’s aging process and help them regain strength and confidence. This information is empowering in an area where we often feel helpless. Applying these techniques will make life easier for your aging dog. It will also make caring for them easier, more joyful, and enriching for both of you.
