NACA and the Justice Clearinghouse Present: Successful animal cruelty investigations and prosecutions require strong relationships between many agencies and entities. The police, animal services, animal rescue groups, veterinarians, prosecutors, and more have a part to play in bringing these cases to the finish line. In this webinar, Oregon’s special prosecutor for animal cruelty cases Jake Kamins will discuss his experiences, good and bad, in coordinating multiple agencies through taking these often-complex cases to trial and bringing these defendants to justice.

In this webinar, Megan will go over how she uses food in all the same ways she could use a toy. HSVMA Presents – for HSVMA Members (membership free for DVM Students): Dr. Melissa Shapiro will share her story about her dog, Piglet, who was rescued from a hoarding situation. Due to irresponsible breeding, Piglet was born blind and deaf but thrives despite his disabilities. Dr. Shapiro and Piglet educate the public about the importance of spay/neuter and encourage adoption of special needs animals. Attendees will learn about the challenges of working with profoundly disabled dogs and how to educate clients about their needs.

Chameleon Presents: In this webinar we’ll work mostly on statistic-type reports, including activity and kennel stats. We’ll go over subreports, tables and joins, basic formulas, and built in functions like summaries and counts.
