California for All Animals Presents: The one-hour call is a dedicated space to share and learn from each other. On February 20, the City of Sacramento Front Street Animal Shelter will showcase a few of their initiatives designed to remove barriers between pets and people and keep families together in a city where over 4,000 people face chronic homelessness, second to only Los Angeles and New York City.

Aline Silva interviews Akisha Townsend Eaton, Rae Williams, and Tre Law to share important historical information for Black land owners and farmers, how it intersects with Environmental Justice, and why we should all care about this to benefit humans and animals.

We’ll draw two $100 gift card winners who will be announced at the closing session of the Back Where They Belong summit on February 28.
