The Gathering is coming back this year in a big way! Join us in Philadelphia, the city of Brotherly and Sisterly LOVE, October 4-7th for an immersive conference uniting the biggest hearts and brightest minds for Human and Animal Well-Being.
This annual event will welcome attendees from various backgrounds, including Veterinary Students, Pet Business Owners, Animal Shelter Staff, Community Activists, Educators, and dedicated local Philly Advocates, all united by a shared mission to empower the BIPOC community in their journey of pet companionship.
CARE is building a thorough safety net to help support people and pets in underserved communities. We’re coming together to share resources, and amplify historically marginalized voices because it’s foundational to Human and Animal Well-being. And we cannot do it without you!
Because The Gathering is rooted in community wisdom, expect to hear from community leaders who know the struggle, beauty, and ingenuity of their beloved communities. But more importantly, they know what’s needed to make a long lasting impact.
