Have questions or interested in learning more about creating a pet-friendly program? Join us for a “Don’t Forget the Pets: Housing People and Pets” training where we explore ways to create and sustain pet-friendly housing programs.

Our Outreach Manager, Katie Campbell, and GreaterGood Charities’ Rescue Rebuild Program Director, Bryn Donnelly, will cover topics including:

The importance of the human-animal bond
The link between human and animal violence
Program design including construction and policies and procedures
How to apply for funding from RedRover and Rescue Rebuild (plus other funding opportunities!)

The Don’t Forget the Pets training focuses on the power of collaboration and draws on the experiences of the presenters and the organizations we’ve worked with. Attendees are encouraged to share their successes and challenges with creating a pet-friendly program and our goal is to ensure that everyone leaves with concrete next steps.
