Mental health and wellness are of increasing importance within the veterinary industry, with a mental health crisis in veterinary clinics everywhere. Understanding the neurochemistry of mental health helps, as does targeted treatments based on symptoms such as depression, anxiety, and stress. In this presentation the audience will be introduced to the neurochemistry of mental health issues and gain practical knowledge about how to address various symptoms, including when to seek professional support.
