Are you interested in learning how to maximize lifesaving at your shelter by improving your flow to ensure animals don’t get “stuck”? This workshop is led by two members of the leadership team of Dallas Animal Services (DAS), currently the 3rd highest intake municipal shelter in the country with an intake of nearly 40,000 cats and dogs this past year. This workshop will discuss how DAS manages this high-volume intake by being strategic. You will learn how the team changed the process from beginning to end to improve efficiencies and reduce cross-contamination as well as how they utilize opportunities to automate the process to avoid sticking points.
