Join us Wednesday, July 28th, 2021, at 1:00 pm EDT for “No Worries- She’s an Indoor Cat” is NOT the Solution for Tick & Heartworm Prevention for Cats,” a review of the more common external and internal parasites of cats, including an update on prevalence and parasite forecasts from Companion Animal Parasite Council (CAPC); a discussion of the risk to indoor cats; and how long-acting preventives can increase compliance and protect more pets. This webinar is intended for both cat owners and veterinary professionals and is RACE-approved. EveryCat Health Foundation’s Steve Dale, CABC, will be moderating.

The webinar will be presented by Dr. I. Craig Prior, the previous owner of VCA Murphy Road Animal Hospital, an eight-doctor practice in Nashville, TN, and former owner/partner in three BluePearl emergency hospitals in Middle Tennessee. A 37-year veteran, Dr. Prior’s professional interests include all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery and the operations and metrics of well-managed practices. Born and raised in Australia, Dr. Prior graduated from the University of Queensland in Brisbane with a degree in veterinary medicine in 1984 and moved to the United States in 1985.Dr. Prior is a board member and past president of the Companion Animal Parasite Council (CAPCvet.org).
