Best Friends Presents: The Best Friends municipal and shelter support team is offering a free Lifesaving Dispatch online training. Learn how to challenge the traditional model of animal control dispatch and encourage a more proactive, engaged, and community-focused approach to the call-takers of the field service industry.

Learners will be invited to join a cohort of 75 individuals that will meet virtually for three months via the Litmos LMS platform. Each cohort will be invited to twice-monthly (bi-weekly) hour-long, live meetings via Zoom webinar so that questions can be answered live. The bi-weekly meetings will feature video analysis and discussion of relevant topics. A discussion board per cohort will be maintained and moderated. After matriculation of each cohort, the cohort’s discussion board will be archived.

ResQFAST Presents (fee applies): You will be introduced to & gain knowledge of the basic incident management organzation, general wildland safety and the basics of fire behavior.

ACVB Presents (fee applies): The Resident Short Course was created in response to requests for more in-depth coverage of topics of particular interest to residents, and based on resident suggestions.

IAABC Presents (fee applies): This course will help you think scientifically about animal training and behavior consulting for all species, understand and break training into component principles, understand environmental events that maintain behavior, increase your ability to be humane and effective, and more.

SICSA Presents: When a crisis hits, it often affects the entire family, including pets. The humans involved shouldn’t have to choose between their personal needs and safety, and those of the animals they love and support. Fill out the application to apply to participate in an 11-week apprenticeship and gain many of the tools which have helped SICSA’s Safe Pets Program be so successful.

IAABC Presents (fee applies): The IAABC Animal Behavior Consulting Principles & Practice Course is a unique twelve-week, a multi-module course providing a comprehensive overview of the many facets of animal behavior consulting for all species. The course is appropriate for experienced behavior consultants and practitioners as well as those newer to the field with a strong interest in animal behavior.

IAABC Presents (fee applies): Modification of any problematic or unwanted behavior requires mechanical skill, knowledge of species-specific behavior, and experience with a variety of strategies and techniques. This course will provide opportunities for anyone who works with cats to gain all of that, and more. Each of the five weeks is packed with information that can be directly and immediately applied to a variety of cat behavior cases, from aggression to anxiety and from fighting to fear.
