Being listed here does not mean that we have reviewed the material contained. We are trying to provide a variety of resources to hopefully help make your life a little easier. Maddie's Fund Presents: AWLA’s Kitten College went from saving just 92 kittens a year with 28 foster families, to saving more than 1,500 kittens a year with almost 300 foster families. Come to this session on May 2 to learn how they do it!

California for All Animals Presents: Outreach Veterinarian Chumkee Aziz will gather folks from organizations across the state for a conversation about their experiences in High Quality, High Volume Spay/Neuter training programming. Albert Escobedo, Dr. Jennifer Allen, Megan Gram, and Kylie Ramos will discuss challenges they’ve faced and how they’ve overcome them, vet recruitment strategies, advice for retaining surgical team members, and more.
California for All Animals Presents: On May 21, Dr. Ellen Jefferson and Maggie Lynch will join the call to introduce the new HASS budget calculator, which was created to address the persistent underfunding of animal services. This workshop will cover how to use the calculator tool and its results to advocate for budgets appropriate to meet the public's expectations around humane care and shelter lifesaving.
Maddie's Fund Presents: When we look at the realities of dog training and the behavioral effects of the shelter environment, we find that training in a shelter can be difficult to justify. So what do we do about the behavior-related barriers to placing dogs out into homes? This presentation will explore that topic, and offer concrete solutions for some of our toughest behavior challenges.
