HSUS Presents: SAVE THE DATE: Puppy Mill Action Boot Camp is coming to your home! The boot camp will be a free virtual event this year. Speakers will include writer/ journalist Rory Kress, the author of The Doggie in the Window, an expose of puppy mills and the pet store connection, as well as expert animal advocates from the Humane Society of the United States and Bailing out Benji. Speakers and workshops will help you hone your animal advocacy skills. Topics will include building coalitions, passing new laws, working with media, effective outreach, and the role of law enforcement in stopping puppy mills.
