Dogs Playing for Life Presents: In this first of three webinars, we will present powerful examples of how playgroups can not only enhance the quality of life for your shelter dogs, but how focusing on their quality of life through enrichment can lead to game-changing benefits to your shelter’s everyday operations.

VETGirl Presents (fee applies for non-members): In this 1-hour, VETgirl-veterinary technician webinar, Chantelle Hanna, CVT, VTS (Dermatology) reviews the basics of flea biology, flea allergy dermatitis (FAD), and hypersensitivity in FAD. She will review the cornerstones of diagnosing FAD, the treatment arsenal for flea control, and how to empower owners through client education. Tune in to get a tech-centric take on all thing’s flea and FAD!

The AAWA Presents: Moving from being a bystander to an upstander can be challenging. Sometimes we feel compelled to take action but freeze up when we sense real or perceived danger. How do you know when to act? What are the different ways to respond? This session will explore bystander and upstander behaviors and help leaders identify strategies to reduce harmful behaviors when they occur.

CalAnimals Presents: This session will inspire attendees to really evaluate the training given to all staff/volunteers that interact with others (that would be everyone). Often we presume customer service is something our parents should have taught us, but that is not always the case. This session will be unique in that we will walk through conversations that we have routinely, but often fall short in doing so. This session is intended to provoke conversation, thoughts and action

Fear Free Presents: Psychological safety is the most important aspect of successful teams. We can assess psychological safety in a team using different tools. If psychological safety is lacking, we can help foster it using specific interventions, including civility and growth mindset work.
