CalAnimals Presents: Managed and diverted intake is the process in which shelters are transparent with their community and empower their community to solve problems outside of the shelter’s walls by working together. Attendees will leave this session with an understanding of what managed and diverted intake is and isn’t, the rationale and benefits of the program, including resources for stray animals and owner retention.
