NACA/Justice Clearinghouse Presents: Animal cruelty is often linked to underlying mental health issues or illnesses, trauma, addictions, or other treatable conditions. Forensic presentence evaluations examine all of the factors surrounding an animal cruelty crime, and provide valuable information to the sentencing court in order to craft tailored sentences and reduce rates of recidivism.

Vancouver Humane Society Presents: During this conversation, panelists will share their experiences and insights, shedding light on the ways leaders can integrate trauma-informed care into their organizations to positively impact the animals they serve, the well-being of the people who care for them, and the staff who interact with both animals and clients.

NACA/Justice Clearinghouse Presents: Participants will learn of the bi-directional relationship between community violence and family violence. Topics such as attachment/internal working models, adverse childhood experiences, and toxic stress effects will be discussed with an emphasis on how community violence impacts these critical mental health components.

ASPCAPro Presents: This webinar will discuss ways to increase access to pyometra surgery, including performing surgery in nonspecialized and outpatient facilities, as well as stabilization before referral. It will also discuss recommended surgical techniques for complicated pyometras.

EveryCat Health Foundation Presents: Dr. Ford will discuss several key issues pertaining to the diagnosis, management, and prevention of FeLV infection, emphasizing long-term patient management as it relates to the origins and development of infection, interpretation of diagnostic test results, and the practical side of vaccination decisions.
