IAABC Presents (fee applies): This course will help animal behavior consultants understand the impact of stress on animal behavior at each life stage and apply this information to working directly with those animals.

VIN/VSPN Presents (fee applies): Respiratory distress is a common presenting complaint in the emergency room and often develops in the intensive care unit. It is a life-threatening and rapidly progressing syndrome that encompasses a wide range of underlying diseases. Clinicians are faced with 1- rapidly recognizing the problem; 2- promptly stabilizing the patient; and 3- initiating the appropriate workup.
Online Meeting – Mondays – Shelter and Rescue Support Call – Hosted by Maddie’s Fund
Maddie’s Fund Presents: Maddie’s Fund, in concert with American Pets Alive!, hosts a weekly hour-long Zoom call for animal welfare workers and volunteers. While these calls started out as a response to COVID-19, it’s grown into so much more. These calls are a safe place to discuss uncomfortable topics, all while sharing a common goal of preserving the human-animal bond.

The AAWA Presents: Participants will gain the tools and messaging needed to organize grassroots and local support for a policy initiative. Participants will learn the basics of advocacy, how to put together a campaign, and what types of tools are needed for success.

Shelter Playgroup Alliance Presents: Shelter Enrichment and Inter-dog Communication is the first of a two-part workshop series on the implementation of enrichment and inter-dog playgroups in shelters. During this first session we will review the components of a shelter enrichment program and discuss how inter-dog playgroups play a role.
