Being listed here does not mean that we have reviewed the material contained. We are trying to provide a variety of resources to hopefully help make your life a little easier. IVS Presents (fee applies): This all new seminar has been designed to provide you with practical information on the current thoughts on management of common problems encountered in the geriatric patient. The combination of a behaviorist, an Anesthesiologist/pain management specialist and a dentist will provide a unique approach to the patient management.

National Kitten Coalition Presents: Kittens often come to us dirty, with skin issues, or ectoparasites that need to be removed. Keeping kittens clean is one of the keys to keeping them healthy and thriving! In this free webinar, you will learn how to safely and effectively bathe your kitten(s).
VDOS Presents (fee applies): This VDOS webinar will help you to understand oral and dental anatomy in dogs and cats using proper nomenclature. You will be able to do patient triage, obtain a history, assess clinical signs, perform a dental and oral examination (in the awake and anesthetized patient), and record your findings. The modified Triadan tooth numbering system will be introduced, and an example of a dental record will be shown for entry of your diagnostic findings and treatment performed.
VDOS Presents (fee applies): This VDOS webinar will discuss power tools and hand instruments (scalers and curettes) needed to perform a professional dental cleaning (scaling and polishing). Closed periodontal therapy (root planing and gingival curettage) and perioceutic treatment (local administration of medications) will be reviewed. Instrument sharpening will be briefly explained.
The Community Cats Podcast Presents: Return-to-field is an increasingly popular program for saving the lives of community cats. What is it exactly and why are shelters around the country embracing it? Neighborhood Cats, an active participant in two RTF programs and co-author of the new Return-to-field handbook published by HSUS, will take a deep dive into the policies and issues surrounding this still controversial approach.
ACVB Presents (fee applies): Any dog, of any breed or background, is capable of biting, including family pets who are loved and pampered. Young children, especially, can be injured severely. Although we often hear about the statistics of reported bites to children, there is still a great deal of misunderstanding and mythology about its causes and safe management, and a persistent disconnect between the public’s understanding about dog behavior, and what dogs actually do. Understanding the behavioral basis and triggers of biting, along with humane, rational handling and training, are important steps towards helping children and dogs live together safely.
