The AAWA Presents (fee applies): A three-day virtual conference to wrap up the year and propel us into 2022… and beyond. Topics include COVID’s Lasting Impact on Foster Care Recruitment & Retention, More Positive, Less Punitive: Finding Balance in Humane Law Enforcement, How to Serve Your Whole Community, and more.
NACA/Justice Clearinghouse Present: This webinar will talk about the history of the Community Cat Program at the Animal Welfare League of Arlington (AWLA) in Arlington, Virginia including where we were, where we are now, and how we got there. We will discuss how to garner successful support and buy-in for a jurisdiction-wide program, how to resolve the most common community cat conflicts, and what supportive needs arise during a TNR program.
CVMA Presents (fee applies): With the increase in antibiotic resistance in both humans and animals, especially methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus, we need to be better stewards of antibiotics while still treating pyodermas. In this course, we will discuss when to perform cultures and sensitivities, appropriate antibiotic usage, and alternatives to oral antibiotics to treat resistant infections.
