NACA/Justice Clearinghouse Presents: The term “community engagement” gets thrown around a lot, as if it is something that an officer can do if they have a few extra minutes. To unlock the full potential of community engagement, however, we must start thinking of it as less of a project and more of a state of mind. In this course you will learn how embracing community engagement as a mindset can, and will, increase lifesaving efforts and officer safety.

The AAWA Presents: Learn how to tell your story effectively using data through visualization development, simplify the message for reporters and various stakeholders, and use individual stories about pets and their people to illustrate the faces behind the numbers.

Keeping our patients under threshold while in the hospital is critical and learning alternate ways to handle a fearful animal is needed to keep the staff safe.

HSVMA Presents: The presentation will explain the importance of preventative cancer recommendations for canine patients in the primary care setting. Several common canine cancers have been shown to be related to environmental chemical exposures. This presentation will identify specific environmental chemical exposures associated with specific cancers in dogs, or in people with analogous cancers.
