VirtualThe UW Shelter Medicine Program Presents: The media attention around severe canine respiratory disease has started to dwindle, but disease in shelters remains a concern. Our program has consulted with several shelters in the previous six months experiencing cases of Strep zoo. The number of cases is unusual, but the contributing factors seem to be growing more common. We’d love to talk with you about some cases, conditions of dogs in shelters, and risk factors for infectious disease.
