Being listed here does not mean that we have reviewed the material contained. We are trying to provide a variety of resources to hopefully help make your life a little easier. Humane Network Presents (fee applies): This award-winning online certificate program provides practical information and valuable networking for current sheltering professionals, those looking to advance their career, or move into the field of animal sheltering. The program’s courses include leadership, shelter operations, community program development, animal health/clinic operations, and marketing/development.
Maddie's Fund Presents: Maddie’s Fund, in concert with American Pets Alive!, hosts a weekly hour-long Zoom call for animal welfare workers and volunteers. While these calls started out as a response to COVID-19, it’s grown into so much more. These calls are a safe place to discuss uncomfortable topics, all while sharing a common goal of preserving the human-animal bond.
IVS Presents (fee applies): This seminar has been designed to present the most current information on the diagnosis and treatment of many diseases that you are commonly asked to manage in your emergency patients. The main emphasis of the seminars will be to give you practical information that you can readily utilize in your practice. Drs. Pollard and Hackett are internationally recognized experts in their fields and lecture extensively throughout the world. Both speakers work at very busy clinical practices. Because of their involvement with busy veterinary centers, these personable speakers approach clinical problems very practically.
VIN/VECCS ROUNDS: From the ER to IM 2 – Acute Kidney Injury presented by Marie Kerl, DVM, MPH, DACVIM, DACVECC, and Elke Rudloff, DVM, DACVECC, cVMA
IAABC Presents (fee applies): The IAABC Animal Behavior Consulting Principles & Practice Course is a unique twelve-week, multi-module course providing a comprehensive overview of the many facets of animal behavior consulting for all species. The course is appropriate for experienced behavior consultants and practitioners as well as those newer to the field with a strong interest in animal behavior. The course features weekly on-line meetings with a Course Mentor discussing each learning module.

CVMA Presents: With the enactment of several new employment laws taking effect in 2021, most businesses, including veterinary practices, will be affected. This talk will introduce several new and important laws that all employers and employees should be aware of moving forward. This talk is free to CVMA members and qualifies as continuing education credit for the purpose of California veterinarian and registered veterinary technician license renewal.
UW and UC Davis Shelter Medicine Programs Present: We will kick off 2021 rounds on Tuesday, January 26th from 3-4pm CST with a discussion on Heartworm Disease. Dr. Linda Jacobson and Dr. Karen Ward from Toronto Humane Society will start the discussion with a short presentation on their published work surrounding heartworm. We hope many of you can join for what should be a great presentation and discussion to follow!

Red Rover Presents: Join us for a “Don’t Forget the Pets: Housing People and Pets” training where we explore ways to create and sustain pet-friendly housing programs. The Don’t Forget the Pets training focuses on the power of collaboration and draws on the experiences of the presenters and the organizations we’ve worked with. Attendees are encouraged to share their successes and challenges with creating a pet-friendly program and our goal is to ensure that everyone leaves with concrete next steps.
Maddie's Fund Presents: This webinar will provide details regarding pricing, treatment, and self-reported outcomes of pyometra management in the HQHVSN environment as described in the recently published paper "Pyometra Management Practices in the High Quality High Volume Spay-Neuter (HQHVSN) Environment". It will also explore opportunities for partnership between HQHVSN and private practice clinics. The webinar will be followed by a Q&A panel that represents a range of practitioners.
