CalAnimals Presents: With pet license compliance below 20% across California, we know we can do better. Let’s make pet licensing easy, make the rules clear and consistent, and find common ways to communicate the importance and value of registration. All of this with the goal of attracting and engaging more pet owners, and making pet licensing a common, sharable experience for all Californians.

Texas Unites Presents (fee applies): In this session, we will get into all of the data that we have been collecting for the past several years, share specific insights into the adopter experience and explain trends we are seeing with online pet searching.  We will also share insights into the gaps between perception and reality and how your organization can boost or break your reputation with potential adopters.

FDSA Presents (fee applies): This talk will start with a discussion of learned helplessness and what it tells us about the impact of lack of control. I will cover how control (or lack of it) influences brain function and how it can change an animal’s approach to his or her environment in dramatic ways. Finally, we will talk about different ways of increasing control for our dogs. This webinar is great for puppies and adult dogs and for pet owners and professionals alike.

Lyme disease and other tick borne disease are a growing health threat. In this presentation, we explore the relationship between wildlife, companion animals and the tick-borne diseases.

In this webinar, we’ll discuss the anatomy of a “normal” dog-dog greeting interaction, as well as common variations you might see depending on breed and general personality. We’ll also talk about how these interactions can go wrong – due to poor social skills, fear/anxiety issues, or previous negative experiences. Video examples will be used to help illustrate the discussion.
