Many things have changed about how we practice over the past year. Approaching vehicles and taking pets away from their owners presents many new opportunities for creating fear, anxiety, and stress in our patients. Leaving pet owners in the car to wait, without knowing what is happening with their pets, creates stress and frustration for them as well.

In this presentation, Valarie Tynes, DVM , DACVB, DACAW will provide multiple suggestions for helping the system run more smoothly without sacrificing the emotional health of our patients. The result will be an appointment that runs more efficiently because the patient is more relaxed and a happier, more satisfied client because they see their pet having a less distressing experience at the veterinary clinic.
