Reducing barriers to adoption and ensuring our staff are properly trained in adoption counseling is critically important. In this webinar, attendees will learn why an open adoption policy is the best policy and how to facilitate conversations with adopters to find the best match for both pets and people.
Presenter Chantalle Little, has 10 years of professional experience in sheltering and a degree in Animal Science from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. She is currently serving as the Animal Care Manger for Woods Humane Society having previously held positions in in the medical department, customer service, animal care, and intake departments. She helped Woods triple adoptions by ramping up the organization’s transport program and launched and managed the Woods’ foster care program. She is an excellent adoption counselor, a great coach and mentor to her team, and one of our outstanding participants in the CalAnimals Emerging Leaders Program.
