As we work together for a future where no adoptable or treatable dog or cat is euthanized, animal shelters need tools that work that empower communities to be part of the solution. Already a best practice for keeping pets out of shelters, rehoming programs are being used in communities across the USA to help pets go from one home to another without ever entering a shelter.
