The GoodPup Webinar Series focuses on dog behavior topics designed specifically to help anyone who works at rescues and shelters. This presentation is free and open to anyone in your community including staff, volunteers, fosters and adopters.
In this webinar we’ll talk about how to assess separation related behaviors; how to prevent and treat them.
Anyone who has personal experience with separation related behavior problems knows how overwhelming and frustrating they can be in addition to worrying about the stress the dog is experiencing when left alone. The good news is we can help decrease this stress, ultimately helping to resolve the behavioral concerns coinciding with it. In this webinar we’ll talk about how to assess separation related behaviors; how to use management for prevention; and how to begin training in order to change the emotional stress some dog’s experience when left by themselves. If you have a dog or work with dogs presenting with separation related behavior problems, I invite you to join us and learn how to get this process started.
