Often these incontrovertibly true beliefs originate from a misconception, ounce of truth, diluted or embellished by word of mouth and/or articles of opinion or limited weighted experiences eventually being commonly understood or accepted. This presentation is complementary to the previous presentation and investigates using an evidence-based approach to assess some of the common myths or misconceptions surround the peri-anesthetic period.
