VDOS Presents - (fee applies) - This webinar will help you to understand oral and dental anatomy in dogs and cats using proper nomenclature. You will be able to do patient triage, obtain a history, assess clinical signs, perform a dental and oral examination (in the awake and anesthetized patient), and record your findings.
Maddie's Fund Presents: Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, animal shelter workers, volunteers and animal welfare leaders from across the country have been meeting every Monday morning at 7am PT/10am ET to discuss protocols, ideas, obstacles they’re facing and more.
Adisa Presents: Volunteers and those who lead them are critical to the lifesaving work of animal shelters nationwide. The last few months have drastically changed how most organizations engage volunteers. As the Covid-19 pandemic spread across the country, animal shelters quickly shifted operations, moving animals into foster and—in most cases—asking the majority of volunteers to stay home. Many areas are now seeing increasing coronavirus infection rates as states struggle to move responsibly through various stages of re-opening.
VDOS Presents (fee applies) - This webinar will discuss power tools and hand instruments (scalers and curettes) needed to perform a professional dental cleaning (scaling and polishing). Closed periodontal therapy (root planing and gingival curettage) and perioceutic treatment (local administration of medications) will be reviewed. Instrument sharpening will be briefly explained.
