Being listed here does not mean that we have reviewed the material contained. We are trying to provide a variety of resources to hopefully help make your life a little easier. AmPa! Presents: The AmPA! weekly Maddie's Instructor Summit offers shelters and rescues a chance to talk through the most current animal sheltering challenges! Topics will change each week. You'll join AmPA! and HASS Staff and industry leaders, but, more importantly, you'll be able to engage face to face (digitally!) with people like you. Because not feeling alone makes this work a lot easier.
NACA/Justice Clearinghouse Presents: Building a successful animal management program from the ground up is challenging at the best of times but throw in the mix a low socio-economic area, poor trust in AMOs, limited resources, and a long history of high enforcement. Understanding the needs of a community, difficulties in an area as well as taking a multi-agency approach to a pilot animal management program has lead to amazing success for a regional Local Government in Australia. Gaining the trust of the community became the key to creating a successful working relationship.
VDOS Presents (fee applies): This VDOS webinar will focus on the two most frustrating dental and oral conditions in cats, namely tooth resorption and stomatitis. The potential causes of these conditions will be discussed. Tips and tricks how to extract resorbing teeth will be shared, and various treatment options (medical and surgical) for feline stomatitis will be reviewed. The didactic lecture will last 1.5 hours, but the webinar is designed so that there is extra time for interactive participation and answering your questions.
