The social vulnerability index (SVI) study, published by Best Friends Animal Society, brings to light many conclusions, some expected and some not so much. The study overlays the 2019 Best Friends National Dataset with the Center for Disease Controls SVI data which indicates level of vulnerability for human suffering and financial loss based on 15 variables.
In this session we dive into the output of that study, focusing on key takeaways to help us modify our programs to best serve and utilize our community.
