ASPCAPro Presents: Quickly recognizing, diagnosing, and treating toxic exposures in dogs and cats is an essential part of clinic operations, but what can be done when a toxin is unknown? In this presentation we’ll discuss which questions to ask pet owners in a possible unknown toxin exposure. We’ll also cover the available diagnostics for identifying potential toxins, decontamination of a poisoned patient, and treatment options.
